Expert Workshop on the Hannover Klosterkammer

On 15 June 2017, Helen presented a paper entitled ‘“Welchen Gang die alte Klosterschule gehen wird, scheint leider noch nicht festzustehen…”: NS-Machtdurchsetzungsprozesse in der Nationalpolitischen Erziehungsanstalt Ilfeld‘ at a two-day conference organised by the Leibniz Universität Hannover’s Institut für Didaktik der Demokratie, entitled ‘Die Klosterkammer Hannover im Nationalsozialismus’.

The workshop forms part of a Volkswagen-Stiftung-funded project which aims to uncover the history of Hannover’s Klosterkammer during the Third Reich, in preparation for the institution’s 200th anniversary in 2018.
