"Anti-Enlightenment"
On 17 June 2013, Helen presented a paper entitled ‘”Anti-Enlightenment”: National Socialist Educators’ Troubled Relationship with Humanism and the Philhellenist Tradition’ at a conference on ‘Post-Classicisms’, University of Cambridge.
The conference is part of a ‘Post-Classicisms’ network established by scholars at Princeton University, University College London, Oxford and Cambridge, and is intended to give postgraduates and early career scholars an opportunity to discuss their research with leading professors in the field of Classical Reception.
